The NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Orientation — Firearm Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Training — is the NRA’s response to the American public’s need for a firearm orientation program for new purchasers. NRA orientation to one specific pistol action type for classes of four or fewer students. This course is at least 6 hours and goes well beyond the NRA information.
You must have your own 1911 type pistol and 150 rounds of Ammo. We will go over function, in depth cleaning, malfunctions, accessories, loading and sighting in. Class size is limited.
The 1911 Pistol family will be discussed and broke down. The morning is classroom (beyond basics) then lunch and some range time. THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE FIRST STEPS!
