| For those interested in taking this class. The NRA requirements are only that you shoot a .22 caliber pistol to qualify. We offer our students larger caliber pistols with limited ammunition for familiarization only, this is not a requirement. The NRA basic pistol course length is only 8 hours (1 day class) we have extended the time to 10+ hours to cover the material and offer more range time. This course is designed to teach you safety while teaching a basic understanding of the functions of pistols and shooting. Once you have attended and passed this class if you paid attention, you will have the knowledge, skills and attitude to shoot safely. Then it is up to you to use what you have learned to better your marksman skills. |
