Vehicle Ambush Oct 12-13-14 2018

Overview
Understand the nuances and direct concerns of armed conflict on and around automobiles. (Riots-Blockages-Terrorist gangs)

  • Covering vehicle bailout drills.
    Deflection shots into a windshield
    Hard points and soft points exercises on actual vehicles with participant ballistic testing on
       doors, glass, drive train and panels of non up armored vehicles
    Exit from auto under attack drills
    Extract injured under fire drills
    Drive through and retire drills
    Trapped vehicle, trapped in vehicle drills
    Trauma training

If you cannot keep up, (skill level, mentally, physically). Pease excuse yourself from the class.
No one will think any less of you. Being told to leave is a different story.
Laser/Sweep anyone and your class attendance is over. There are no refunds.

The instructors are all Military/Law Enforcement Vets with decades of real world experience.
Egos will be checked at the entrance. Please only bring empty glasses to the class.
This class is not a Ninja class. WE guarantee you will learn something useful!

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  Prepared by a Army cook SOS!! “Death from Within” each day will be something new and fulfilling. One day will be a field meal that was the style eaten by Soviet troops in Afghanistan while the next day will be a US Army one. Finally the last day a meal will be prepared in the style of the SF long range recon patrols. (Just for fun)

Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs (Not green) – Bacon – SOS - Pork and Beans – Army coffee (she is starting to brew it now so it’s extra good)

Lunch: MRE’s and other surprises.

If everyone would like to hang out for dinner we can grab some soda, burgers, pizza etc.
(Throw in a couple bucks in for the munchies)

Ammunition can be supplied/purchased at the range location. (Prepaid two weeks before class)

SAFTD approved holster outside the pants. (Safety reasons)

This is not a beginner course.

Day 1
Information symposium with SAFTD training opportunity updates and demonstrations by SMEs
Group discussion
1300 Live fire range
Buddy walk, live fire
Return on paper
DSS handgun qual with scoring to pass.
Federal Air Marshal qual to see difference in proficiency
Walk through vehicle ambush range with detailed non fire explanation and committed safety brief.

    Q and A session on live fire range. Instructor demos and remedial, requested or directed one on one training.

1800 end of day one

Day Two
Safety violations and dehydration concerning. Zero tolerance.
0800 Range brief
0815 Myth busting
0830 Communications exercise (Verbal and hand signals)
0850 Bounding to Cover with live fire
0930 Walk through civilian ambush protocol. Instructors demo full speed then slow with explanation.
1015 Students walk through slow.
           Students will have chances to participate in various scenarios depending on class size.
1100 Ambush response Full speed with Airsoft (Provided)
          
1200 Lunch
1300 Civilian Two person tactics walking ambush with live fire. Family and Baby.
1600 Deflection shots
1800 end day 2


Day Three

The final day will be a complete immersion on all aspects of all course material. Total mastery is the goal

Day one is repeated at a greatly accelerated and streamlined pace.
1200 Lunch.
Discussion during the last lunch will go into gunshot wound trauma with self-aid and buddy aid concepts and TEMS discussed.
Precision rifle demonstration

Final drills on paper, steel and movement drills.
Vehicle drills
